Caucus night matters. Even when there isn’t a presidential preference vote, this is where Republicans in every precinct meet, organize, and set the direction of the Party.

Key Dates (Caucus to Convention)

Here are the key dates for the 2026 caucus-to-convention process:

• Iowa Caucus: Monday, February 2, 2026

• County Conventions: Saturday, March 7, 2026

• District Standing Committees: Saturday, March 28, 2026

• District Conventions: Saturday, April 25, 2026

• State Standing Committees: Saturday, May 9, 2026

• State Convention: Saturday, June 13, 2026

What Happens at Caucus

At your precinct caucus, you will:

• Elect precinct representatives to the Dallas County GOP Central Committee

• Elect delegates and alternates to the Dallas County Convention

• Submit proposed platform planks for the County Republican Platform

• Conduct other official caucus business

Important: Central Committee membership resets every caucus cycle.
If you want to serve — or continue serving — you must be elected by your precinct on February 2, 2026.
