Perry Johnson Releases New TV Ad Focused on Reviving the American Economy with Two-Cents Plan
The ad will run in Iowa and New Hampshire media markets through the end of March

Perry Johnson, Michigan businessman, quality control expert and presidential candidate, released a new ad on Monday emphasizing his background in saving the American automotive industry and targeting the bloated federal government for reckless spending. The ad highlights Johnson’s plan to put the federal government on a “Two-Cents Diet” with two percent cuts to discretionary spending annually.

The ad will run in Iowa and New Hampshire media markets through the end of March. The campaign added an additional $102,000 to their ad buy, bringing the total amount spent on television advertising by Perry Johnson in Iowa and New Hampshire to more than $700,000 to date.

The ad, which follows Johnson’s debut ad released on Super Bowl Sunday, asks the question, “Perry who?” Johnson is not a career politician. He’s an outsider and businessman who successfully brought the American auto industry back from the brink of collapse. Now, he is on a mission to bring quality to the most inefficient institution in the country - the federal government.

“Democrats have chosen to ignore the critical states of Iowa and New Hampshire, casting aside the historic first-in-the-nation presidential contests and voices of their caucus and primary goers. In February, I set up my first campaign office in Ankeny, and have plans to open another office in New Hampshire in the near future,” Johnson said.

“In my time on the campaign trail, the support for my Two-Cents Plan has been extraordinary. My latest ad addresses the reality that I am a political outsider and businessman with the know-how to overhaul the federal government so that it works for the people it represents, allowing us to keep the American Dream alive.
